DISCIPLINE

“TO CONQUER ONSELF IS A GREATER VICTORY THAN TO CONQUER THOUSANDS IN A BATTLE”

January’s Course explores the theme of DISCIPLINE and teach tools to transform avoidance into devotion. You will find an understanding of the personal intentions behind your practice and connect with others who are committing more deeply to themselves and their creativity.

Our workshops this month will guide you to a deeper awareness of where you feel resistance, teach practices which cultivate resilience in this discomfort, and connect you to deeper wells of devotion to your self and practice.

Throughout the 4 weeks, you will have been diving deeply into your creative practice, connecting to your truth, and shedding limiting beliefs. We will, wholeheartedly, hold you with tenderness and safety.

MEDITATION

We will explore a short breath work exercise followed by a soothing Counting Breath meditation.

MARK MAKING

Discipline Drawing develops focus and presence, holding yourself in the moment with compassion and commitment and in observation of where you resist or flee discomfort.

JOURNALING

Shift from resentment to honouring and begin to understand the resistances we hold within.

QIGONG

The element of Earth which helps us develop and cultivate clear intention (yi). Its energy allows us to remain stable and centred as we transform and redirect our own energy.
