EXPLORING THE INTERSECTION OF CREATIVITY, HUMANIST PSYCHOLOGY AND BUDDHIST PHILOSOPHY.

‘Floating’ reflects the experience of wabi-sabi when viewing the floating rocks of Zen gardens; the beauty of the imperfect and the impermanence of being. It inspires within us an awareness of the Here and Now, and our own transience through life, and with ourselves.

‘Space’, is an emptiness contained. Yet it holds freedom in the desire to be curious and to expand. Within our community contained space, we can be curious about ourselves, and expand our own realities.

OUR FACILITATORS

Mimi Robson + Kasia Murfet

MIMI ROBSON

Artist + Therapist

Before becoming a Counsellor, Mimi spent many years as an artist, exploring how people see and express themselves. Creativity was, and still is, a way for her to deepen self-awareness and stay connected to her own experiences. She now brings this same curiosity and insight into her therapy sessions, blending the creative process with a deep understanding of the human psyche, the power of therapeutic listening and psychological healing.

In all which she practices and shares, there is thoughtfulness, tenderness and an embrace of the seasonality within all.

KASIA MURFET

Buddhist Meditation + Qigong facilitator

Kasia is a facilitator connecting the dots between Buddhism, Qigong and the Creative Process.  They enjoy working with modalities that provide an opportunity for direct experience.

Kasia is currently working on a Masters in Buddhist Studies with the University of South Wales and their research explores whether Zen can really be expressed through (Zen) Arts.
